Summary
Mother Seagull is flying through the sky with a basket full of eggs. She ends up dropping one of her eggs when she crashes into a Pelican in mid-air. The egg drops inside a barnacle on the back of a little whale named Jambo, and it hatches inside a barnacle shell. So this little seagull thinks he is a barnacle. This is the main character Lou. Lou has many lovely friends: Cruru, the barnacle; Bella, the cheerful rabbit who loves making things; and Jambo, the baby whale who always watches over Lou. And remember, there is nothing Lou and his friends can't do because everything they imagine becomes true right in front of their eyes! Sometimes Lou wants to fly over the sky. He wishes that he could fly with the other seagulls, especially whenever he sees seagulls flying through the air. Some day, Lou will fly too.
