Summary
Milt Dale, a former cowboy turned hunter, lives far from civilization. His only companion is his cougar. One day while taking shelter from a storm, he discovers an abandoned cabin. There, he overhears the conspiracy between local gang leader Snake Anson and a landowner called Beasley. They plan to kidnap Helen, the niece of Beasley's fierce rival. To stop them, Dale needs to say goodbye to his life in the wild and return to civilization. He forges a plan to rescue Helen before Snake Anson and his gang capture her. Through the mind of Dale, explore the role of a man in western society. What does it mean to be a cowboy and a lone hunter in the woods? Is it possible for the morally strong to conquer all obstacles before them?
